Our CEO, Q Zhao, had the privilege to interview The Economist’s correspondent, Roseann Lake, on her new book “Leftover in China, The Women Shaping the World’s Next Superpower”.

The interview touched on several topics which include: the “leftover women” phenomenon, the marriage issues they are facing and other unique problems they encounter in China. The book explored lives of four individual women against a backdrop of colourful anecdotes, citing interviews and research to show how these ‘leftover women’ are the linchpin to China’s future.

The English edition of this book is out now and the Chinese edition will be out in August.
